Babu Joseph is a pioneering figure in Southern India’s television industry with a career spanning media, management, entrepreneurship, consulting, and strategy. He founded Kerala’s first television production house, Hyphen Communication, and introduced ‘Vipani’, the region’s first hyper-localized business series on Doordarshan consecutively for 10 years
As the former Head of the news division at Jeevan TV, one of India’s prominent regional satellite channels, he significantly influenced television journalism. His work with the Kerala state government on AIDS prevention as the team lead for IEC campaigns, showcased his dedication to public service.
Babu Joseph also excels as a strategy advisor to corporate entities Kannan Devan Hills Plantation ( KDHP) an initiative of Tata Tea, Choice Group ( leading sea food exporter) Amritha Unniversity etc.. crafting transformative strategies for organizational success. He was the Chairman of Bless Retirement Living, recognized globally by the BBC, and serves as Director at Sacred Hearts College of Communication.
